In 1986, De La Salle College and Holy Cross Convent amalgamated — a momentous event built on faith, respect and trust between the two religious orders.

De La Salle Holy Cross College is founded by the De La Salle Brothers — Faith, Service, Community — and the Holy Cross Sisters — In the Cross is Salvation. The Brothers and Sisters co-own the College, and their presence ensures that pastoral and spiritual guidance is lived out every day.
For 38 years, DLSHCC has provided affordable, quality Catholic education. Each pupil is seen as an individual, and their unique potential is nurtured.
As a community serving humanity with Christ at its centre, we nurture every dimension of a pupil’s development in a caring, stimulating environment — supported by onsite Wellness Centres on both campuses at no additional cost to families.
From Grade RR to 12 we promote a healthy growth mindset through inquiry-based learning and STEM, embracing the best innovative and tested teaching to start a lifelong love of learning.
The College follows a curriculum designed to meet Independent Examination Board (IEB) requirements, with all academic procedures under stringent quality control — and a remarkable legacy of a 100% matric pass rate across our amalgamated history.
